    Physical Therapist Requirements:

    • Education and Experience: Physical Therapist education and degrees shall be recognized by the U.S. Department of Education from Commission on Accreditation in Physical Therapy Education (CAPTE) accredited colleges, universities, or institutions.

    • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities: Patient Assessment, Therapeutic Skills/Modalities, Diagnostic Specific Groups (Neurological, Orthopedics, Geriatric, Psychiatric, Equipment Utilized, Patient Education, Infection Control, Quality Improvement, CPR, Safety, Principles of Information Management, Specific Age Appropriate Care.

    • The employee will conduct physical therapy assessments/evaluations, develop and implement therapeutic treatment plans for patients with diagnoses included but not limited to orthopedics, neurologic, cardiovascular, and pulmonary, geriatric, wound care/lymphedema, chronic pain. The PT should be able to perform the following evaluations to include, but not limited to formal musculoskeletal evaluation, Physical Therapy evaluation, General Therapy Screenings, prosthetic and adaptive equipment evaluation and assessment, aquatic therapy, wheelchair seating, pelvic health and positioning, home evaluations. The PT will formally and informally assess the patient’s physical, functional, psychosocial, and emotional needs and use that information to develop a comprehensive and dynamic treatment plan which will enable each patient to achieve optimal levels of function in self-care, activities of daily living, work, and leisure

    Job Summary:

    Requires administrative support services to support the client staff with the assimilation of program documentation, development of correspondence, checking documents for accuracy, processing payments, maintaining spreadsheets, etc. Monitors and tracks the commencement and expiration of agreements and prepares agreement modifications. Reviews contract obligating documents and assist in internal auditing of agreements. Work shall be completed in accordance with client policies and procedures. The workload requires the support of individuals capable of working independently within the organization while understanding client programs, administrative procedures, and office routines.
